Our story
Built in Squamish, by people who plan to stay.
Avesta Strata & Property Management was founded by people who've watched the Sea to Sky transform from a quiet pass-through into one of the most desirable places to live in British Columbia. With that growth came large out-of-town management companies and the friction of being treated like a ticket number.
We saw the gap. Strata councils wanted a partner who'd show up to the meeting, read the bylaws, and answer the phone in an emergency. We stay deliberately small so every council gets the kind of attention we'd want for our own building.

The people you'll actually be working with, named and at the office.
Victoria is the owner of Avesta, licensed in Strata Management, Property Management, and the Managing Broker. She's always at the office. She has worked in the industry in the Sea to Sky corridor since 2002 and became a licensed Strata Manager in 2011. Born in the UK with a housing-developer father, she grew up on building sites. At university she gained a BA with honours in Business Studies. She moved to Canada in 1997 and has worked in property maintenance, sales, and management since. With a common-sense approach to management and a large network of connections and support in the industry, she's able to help you negotiate through your property needs.
Danielle has worked in property management for more than two decades and manages the property-management department at Avesta. She started in commercial property management in Vancouver straight out of business college but after a few years of commuting decided to stay local and hasn't looked back. Danielle values the relationships she builds with her property owners, contractors, and tenants. She has a wide knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and is committed to making the most of her owners' investments.
Proud to call Squamish home for the past year, Adam brings a fresh perspective and strong analytical skills from his previous experience as a senior business analyst. He is excited to leverage his attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to create smooth, efficient property management experiences.
Tom arrived in Squamish by bicycle from Patagonia and hasn't left since. He came for the mountain biking but nowadays you're more likely to find him dirt biking or holding your next strata council meeting. Tom has worked at Avesta for many years providing exceptional service to our strata owners.
Emma is a licensed strata and rental manager with more than a decade of experience in the industry. She believes in building and maintaining long-term relationships with her clients and is dedicated to looking after your home and investments. When she's not busy managing properties you can find Emma hiking the Chief, paddleboarding, skiing, camping, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors and activities that Squamish has to offer.
Natasha is a dedicated and highly motivated Strata Manager with extensive experience in customer service and management. That background has built a deep understanding of clear communication, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to addressing client needs. Outside of work, Natasha enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle, with a love for traveling, hiking, and camping.
Francis is a licensed Strata Manager who joined Avesta in May 2022. As a lifelong skier and climber, he's excited to call Squamish his forever home. Having moved from Ottawa, Ontario in 2015, he has worked in the Vancouver area managing a large portfolio of stratas. With a background in accounting and years of experience in strata, he has the skills to effectively manage your strata's every need.
Suman moved to Squamish and fell in love with the mountains. She loves to cook, hike with her dogs, and thinks watching her children grow up has been the most amazing, terrifying, and wonderful experience she's ever had. She enjoys evenings with her husband in the quiet of her own home with a good dinner and some quality time together. She works extremely hard, is reliable, trustworthy, and responsible, plus she enjoys getting to know people, which makes her the perfect person for our rentals team.
Marianna studied Translation and Interpreting, Spanish and Russian Language. She's lived in Spain, the UK, Italy, and Iceland, working in various jobs. She finally moved to Canada in 2019 for the mountains and great skiing, and also fell in love with mountain biking. She worked for two and a half years with a property-management company in Whistler. Victoria was the strata manager for the building, and her work inspired Marianna to pursue a career as a strata manager.
A proud Squamish local since 1992, Tammy is the kind of community cornerstone you'll spot everywhere, from dance studios to hockey arenas to baseball diamonds, cheering on her kids and supporting local teams. With 25+ years of accounting experience across public and private practice, and a CPA designation earned in 2002, she brings deep expertise, steady leadership, and a sharp eye for detail to every file. Clients and colleagues count on Tammy for her care, work ethic, and commitment to getting things done right.
